How It All Started...
Jesus Our Boss, Inc. ("JOB") was started in 1998 and offered Christian business owners an opportunity to gather for luncheons featuring guests speakers.
In 2007, JOB received its 501(c)3 status from the Internal Revenue Service.
Today, JOB operates a "mentor house" for men leaving long-term prison/jail or rehab The mentor house is located in Placerville, CA and has the capacity to house six men. While in the mentor house, the men seek employment, work on life skills with their mentor and save money to move out on their own. The mentor house is funded by generous tax-deductible donations, fundraising events and our warehouse.
